Responsibilities include: Lead and direct web and sheetfed offset pressroom personnel on 2nd shift to produce quality printed products on time according to client specifications. Pressroom employee training. Practice and promote Lean Manufacturing Principles in printing operations. Promote a safe work environment. Recommend equipment and supply purchases to day shift manager. Main point of contact on 2nd shift. Work closely with prepress, bindery, mailing and shipping managers on job status. Communicate with day shift pressroom manager. Overall press and ancillary equipment maintenance. Client press okays. Qualifications include: Minimum 5 - 7 years' management experience in heatset web print operations.
